This morning my colleague Peter Bone and I debated the Government's policy to introduce Civil Marriage for same sex couples on 5Live. As a Conservative I believe society is stronger when we make vows to each other, and support each other. This is true whether the couple making the commitment is a man and a woman, a woman and a woman, or a man and a man and that is why I, and the Conservative party support, gay marriage.
