South Warwickshire Parliament Day

Stratford MP Nadhim Zahawi, along with Chris White MP (Warwick and Leamington), welcomed local businesses to Parliament on Monday afternoon for the annual ‘South Warwickshire in Parliament’ event. Mr Zahawi has sponsored the event since its inception in 2014.

Commenting before the event, Mr Zahawi said:

“One of the best parts of my role as Stratford-on-Avon’s MP is having the opportunity to visit and learn about the fantastic variety of businesses within South Warwickshire. Whether the business is small or multinational, arts-based or engineering-based, artisanal or more industrial - or if it is an organisation that helps to promote the area’s heritage - it always impresses me just how much South Warwickshire has to offer. I am looking forward to welcoming a cross section of these businesses and organisations to Parliament so that they have the opportunity to showcase themselves and communicate their ideas and queries to Parliamentarians”.

Businesses and organisations in attendance included Stratford College, Aston Martin, Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, Warwickshire Colleges Group, the RSC, Helping Hands, the National Farmers Union, and Birmingham Airport among many.
